Throughout the event, speakers and panels explored topics such as Intelligence Onchain, Beyond Digital Gold, Builders & Backers, Code vs Law, and From Protocol to Product, providing attendees with insight into the changing dynamics of blockchain, policy, and infrastructure.
The expansion of institutional investors in cryptocurrencies was also evident as Bitwise’s head of Europe, Bradley Duke, highlighted that corporate treasuries and institutional investors are increasingly positioning digital assets as both a hedge against currency declines and a catalyst for long-term growth.
“We are witnessing the true institutionalization of blockchain,” Duke said in his keynote speech. “Corporate treasuries, ETFs, and regulated products now form the structural backbone of the crypto market.”
Another partner, Rayls, known as the “Bank of Blockchain,” successfully raised over $1.75 million through a public sale on Republic, highlighting the growing demand for institutional-grade blockchain products and infrastructure.
In a further sign of the market’s growing maturity, UK-based company Echo was acquired by Coinbase in a deal supported by Andersen LLP’s digital assets team. The deal highlights the deepening relationship between traditional advisory firms and Web3 companies, reflecting the institution’s growing confidence in the strength of the UK blockchain ecosystem.
“The UK’s momentum in digital assets is growing with positive signals, supported by clear innovation and contributing to its status as a global crypto and fintech hub, but it is critical that we get the stablecoin and crypto regime right. Our initiatives such as the Coinbase accelerator are fostering a pipeline of Web3 startups and highlighting the high quality of local talent.”
