On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, a Level 5 fire broke out at the Kwon Fuk Estate in New Territories Po, Hong Kong, resulting in significant casualties and property damage. This disaster has severely affected people across Hong Kong and Chinese communities around the world, prompting the rapid mobilization of all sectors to support affected residents through donations, supplies and volunteer efforts.
Against this backdrop, AB Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Hong Kong-China Peaceful Reunification Promotion Association, will donate HK$10 million to support emergency relief and long-term community reconstruction efforts at Kwon Fuk Estate. The parties aim to work together to advance sustainable humanitarian assistance and other public interest initiatives.
Established in Ireland in May 2025, the AB Charitable Foundation works to promote public welfare around the world, with a particular focus on vulnerable people affected by war and natural disasters, particularly women and children. This gift not only reflects the Foundation’s core mission of “enabling technology to benefit society,” but also embodies the Foundation’s vision of seeing the earth as an interconnected whole and transcending regional, cultural, and ethnic boundaries to help build a truly supportive global community with a common future for humanity.
