Gate Ventures has announced the launch of the Web3 (Open-Web) & AI Frontiers program, a strategic initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of innovators at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
Designed to cultivate early-stage ideas from leading academic institutions such as Cambridge University, the program offers capital investments, technical guidance and direct access to the global blockchain ecosystem for selected projects. With an emphasis on research-based innovation, the initiative targets scalable solutions in core domains such as blockchain infrastructure, distributed finance (DEFI), and AI-powered applications built on Solana networks.
The Web3 (Open-Web) & AI Frontiers program offers investment tickets ranging from $100,000 to $1 million with flexible timelines. Beyond funding, participants will benefit from comprehensive post-investment support, including mentorship from veteran operators, strategic business development advice, and access to professional talent networks within the blockchain and Web3 sector.
This initiative summarises the unique strengths of the three founding partners. GateVentures is a venture arm dedicated to accelerating blockchain innovation through early stage investment and strategic support. Solana Superteam UK contributes to deep ecosystem expertise and a strong developer community within the Solana Network. The Cambridge Blockchain Association is a leading academic group that brings together students, researchers and industry experts who promote blockchain research across Cambridge University.
